The new specialty sheeter can sheet abrasive materials such as emery paper and sand papers of 25 grit or higher. It is capable of speeds of over 500 cuts per minute on an 11″ cut off. The cutting section includes a slitter rig that permits up to seven piles across the width of the sheeter. The company also introduced a dual motor drive retrofit, which allows a converter’s older sheeters to remain competitive with today’s precision sheeters.
